    Re: UT fans...what happened?

He struggles reading coverages. He struggles identifying blitzes. He struggles with accuracy. He struggles sometimes even throwing the right route(which could be the WRs fault too). He struggles doing it all. Put a Jeff Garcia type in front of him for a year, let him see that and learn from it. It isn't helping their football team to have him out there right now and it is just making him worse. It will go to his head and he'll get down on himself and all that. He's just too raw to be out there.

Hell at the press conference announcing his hiring Davis called him "lance". Then he stood up to Davis over Russell. Davis tried firing him after just one year. I mean really, Al Davis is bat**** crazy. It doesn't matter if he used to be a good coach, or a good gm the fact is he sucks something fierce right now.

    Kiffin's record in Oakland...5-15
    Tom Cable's record since..5-11

    The Raider's overall record since 2003 - 24-72

How can you realistically say that Kiffin is a bad coach? He didn't have long enough in Oakland to accomplish anything, and he's coaching a team w/o a quarterback right now and a roster filled mainly with talent he didn't recruit.

I think you are just biased and unconcerned with reality on this one beast haha..
You stats show what I'm saying...Cable has won the same # of games Kiffin did in 25% less games. Kiffin has done nothing as a HC in OAK or TN yet. You can drink the Kiffin Kool Aid if ya want, but I know better. The day Dallas hired W. Phillips I gave ya a forecast of his 1st 3 years there...how wrong was I ?...I'm not wrong on this one either. Wait and see.
...And if you ain't down with that, I got 2 words for ya....

My guess is Cable's record will be the same as Kiffin's once he makes it into game number 20, if he's not in a state pen by then.

Hell...Belicheck, Gibbs, Knox, or even Lombardi couldn't win in Oakland, with that cluster**** of an organization.

Although they have the same amount of wins, which is nothing for either to brag about, Oakland has actually gotten worse offensively since Kiffin was fired and Cable was placed as the HC. Oakland now averages 4 fewer points a game and 50 less yards a game since the change last year. To argue that Oakland is better off is laughable at this point.

That may be true, but they could probbaly win at UT with what Kiffin has to work with...It's not like he doesn't have any players who were blue chippers out of HS. Funny thing is that Gruden won in Oakland with the same organization, and I don't think you guys would include him with the greatest coaches ever...but eventually you'll all come to the conclusion that Kiffin sucks a$$, maybe it'll just take a few mediocre seasons everywhere he goes...and enough drama for a clique of HS girls.

Not to mention their franchise player Russell has gotten worse instead of better. They are barely getting any production out of any of their recent first round picks of Russell, Mcfadden, and Heyward-Bey.

Al Davis also gave Gruden some time to coach his team and make them better. Davis didn't like what Gruden did either though, traded him and ended up getting beat by him in the Superbowl. They got alot of picks for Gruden, but I'm having a hard time seeing that they used them well since their record has been so awful since then.

I'm telling ya, judging Kiffin on anything that happened in Oakland is dumb. That is the place where coaching and playing careers go to die.

Wonder who the Head Coach in Oakland was when the 1st year of Russell's career was wasted?

I really think you are in over your head with this one. Gruden was 8-8 both of his 1st two seasons in Oakland (he inherited a team that had a combined record of 19-29 in the 3 seasons before Gruden got there, and 4-12 the year before he arrived)...so Davis didn't give him any leeway. And he was 12 games over .500 in 4 seasons in Oakland. Plus, Davis traded him for two 1st rounders...who wouldn't trade a coach for that? Dallas essentially traded Parcells for 2 years with TO...so what's worse?

So is Gruden just a HOF coach that can turn any franchise around..or is he merely average? And like I said before, Kiffin sucks balls.
